HOME BASE TEACHER for the Head Start Program, Child Development Division of GECAC. Prepare, implement and carry out Head Start work/lesson plan in the family private home environment. Instruct parents on early childhood development practices and how to advocate for family needs and goal planning. Complete forms and reports, maintain individual family/child records and assess development. Integrate health, safety and nutrition components into weekly home visit activities. Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood, Elementary, or Special Education, or human services and CDA required. Must be able to conduct home visits and travel in and out of Erie county as required. Valid PA drivers license and private transportation required. Must obtain CDA credentials within 2 years of hire. Preference given to former or current Head Start parents.
