Gannon University, a Catholic university, invites applications for the position of Head Coach of Men’s and Women’s Swimming / Assistant Director of Intramurals and Recreation. Gannon University’s athletic program participates in 18 intercollegiate sports at the NCAA Division II level in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). The successful candidate for this full-time, 10-month position, which includes benefits, will be responsible for the overall organization, supervision, and management of the swimming programs; also responsible for the Learn-to-Swim program and will be expected to perform supervisory duties in the University’s Intramural and Recreation program. Must be able to support and promote the University’s mission.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, previous coaching experience (college level preferred), knowledge of NCAA rules, and a valid driver’s license. Credentials should reflect proven success in recruiting, staff management, and promotion of student athletes in their academic and athletic experience.
