E-Marketing/Enrollment Advisor

Gannon University, a Catholic university, invites applications for an E-Marketing/Enrollment Advisor for the Admissions Office. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the successful candidate will explore, recommend, implement, and manage new approaches to recruiting and advising prospective students through current and emerging E-communication technologies/channels such as on-line chat, podcasts, blogs, forums, tele-counseling, and social networking sites (e.g., Facebook, My Space, You Tube, etc.).  Occasional travel, evening and weekend hours are required.

Requirements include:  a Bachelor’s degree; motivational writing skills; creative thinking skills; a strong desire to communicate admissions policies/procedures and interact with prospective students, parents, and high school personnel; proficiency in using the latest social networking technologies.  Must be highly motivated and capable of working independently, managing multiple projects and collaborating as a team member to achieve common goals.  Understanding of Photoshop, graphics, HTML, and electronic media helpful; prior marketing, college admissions office experience and/or familiarity with the college search process is preferred.  Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to support and promote the University’s mission.
